• Nude lipsticks can look stunning on dusky skin tones but what you need to keep in mind is that a neutral lipstick is definitely not going to labelled nude in the tube. If it looks nude, it’s probably too light and will end up looking like a concealer on your lips.

• Dark and dusky tones, both tend to have unevenly colored lips. A simple trick to even out dark lips is to choose a nude lipstick/lip pencil with a bit of orange in it. It will cancel out the blue-hued dark pigment

• There are some general guidelines that will help you choose the best nude lipstick shades for your skin tone:

1. Moisture your lips with a lip balm
2. Pick a reddish brown lip pencil and outline your lip (this will cancel out the unevenly coloured lips)
3. Pick any brown nude or pink nude and put on the entire lip and blend 
4. Pick nude lipstick shades that are close to the natural color of your lips
5. Top it with any lip gloss transparent or tinted.
